Green Bean Casserole

A classic holiday side dish featuring tender green beans in a creamy mushroom sauce, topped with crispy fried onions for a perfect balance of creamy and crunchy textures.

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 and 1/3 cups French's Crispy Fried Onions, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, and pepper in a 1.5-quart baking dish
  3. Stir in green beans and 2/3 cup crispy fried onions
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until hot. Stir the mixture
  5. Top with remaining 2/3 cup onions
  6. Bake 5 minutes longer or until onions are golden brown

Notes

This recipe can be prepared ahead through step 3, covered with plastic wrap and foil, and frozen until ready to serve. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before baking. You can use fresh, frozen, or canned green beans for this dish.
