For the Crust:
12 oz penne pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, chicken, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and half the mozzarella. Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with parsley before serving.
