Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Quick, juicy, and totally addictive steak bites seared until golden and drenched in garlicky butter, ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat it over high heat until hot.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the skillet and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook for at least 2 minutes without stirring to get a good sear, then stir and continue cooking for another 2 minutes until golden brown. Cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Transfer the steak bites to a plate.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter.
  6. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 30 seconds until aromatic and slightly browned.
  7. Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites and toss well to coat.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the steak dry before cooking for a better crust. Use a hot pan and avoid stirring too soon to ensure a good sear. Add garlic after the steak to prevent burning. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan. Red pepper flakes add a nice kick but are optional.
