Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twists

These Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twists are a delicious fusion of pizza and breadsticks, filled with creamy Alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, then brushed with a savory garlic butter glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pizza dough into a 12×10-inch rectangle.
  3. Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over half of the dough.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, crumbled bacon, and Italian seasoning over the sauce.
  5. Fold the dough in half lengthwise, pressing gently to seal.
  6. Cut the folded dough into 1-inch wide strips.
  7. Twist each strip and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Brush this garlic butter mixture over the twists.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from oven and sprinkle with additional Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm with dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. These twists are best served immediately but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes to restore crispiness. Substitute cooked ham or sausage for bacon if preferred.
