English Muffin Breakfast Pizza

A quick and tasty breakfast pizza using English muffins as the base, topped with savory breakfast ingredients like sausage, cheese, and eggs.

  • 4 English muffins, split
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage crumbles
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green peppers, onions, or other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place English muffin halves on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each English muffin half.
  4. Sprinkle cooked sausage crumbles over the sauce.
  5. Crack one egg onto each muffin half, careful not to break the yolk.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and add optional toppings if desired.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the eggs are set and cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

You can pre-cook the eggs slightly if you prefer firmer yolks. Feel free to customize with your favorite breakfast meats or vegetables. For a creamier sauce, substitute pizza sauce with country gravy.
