- 1/2 cup onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable or chicken stock
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
