Easy Hot Fudge Recipe

A simple and delicious homemade hot fudge sauce made with just a few pantry staples. Perfect for drizzling over ice cream, brownies, or enjoying by the spoonful.

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Place the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir the mixture constantly, cooking until the chocolate and butter are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and thick.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the hot fudge into an airtight jar or container and let cool before storing or serving.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stovetop before serving. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
