  • 6 cups peeled, sliced apples (about 6 medium apples)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the peeled and sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and oats.
