A quick and flavorful stir fry made with ground turkey and homemade teriyaki sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the teriyaki sauce and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the turkey and vegetables. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
