Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

Description

Light and refreshing cucumber tea sandwiches perfect for afternoon tea or gatherings.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 8 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, butter, dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on each slice of bread.
  3. Arrange cucumber slices in a single layer over half of the bread slices.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices and press gently.
  5. Trim the crusts and cut each sandwich into triangles or rectangles.
  6. Serve immediately or cover with a damp towel and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
