For the Crust:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and sprinkle ranch seasoning over them.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks. Return to the crock pot.
- Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined and melted.
- Brush hamburger buns with melted butter and toast lightly in a skillet or oven.
- Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto the toasted buns and serve warm.
