Creamy Pesto Chicken

A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy pesto sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in pesto and heavy cream, then simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
