Creamy Bruschetta Dip

A creamy, tangy dip topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic, perfect for serving with crusty bread or crackers.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Sliced baguette or crostini, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese with the Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  2. Smear the cream cheese mixture on a dinner plate and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, and salt. Toss well.
  4. Gently spoon the tomato mixture on top of the cream cheese spread.
  5. Sprinkle with extra basil and a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
  6. Serve with sliced baguette or crostini.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute goat cheese or mascarpone for cream cheese. The dip can be assembled up to 2 hours in advance but is best served fresh. Add a splash of balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
