For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Stir in garlic and Italian herbs, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes, then reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
