For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Stir in garlic and Italian herbs, cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes, then reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
