Creamed Corn

A simple and delicious side dish made with corn, butter, and heavy cream, perfect for any meal.

  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the frozen corn kernels, heavy cream, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, until the butter has melted and the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use fresh corn when available. Scrape the cob with a knife to extract the milky liquid for added corn flavor.
