Cream Cheese Mints

Description

Delicious, creamy mints with a hint of cream cheese and peppermint flavor.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Granulated sugar for rolling (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the peppermint extract and mix well.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a stiff dough forms.
  4. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls (about 1/2 inch in diameter).
  6. Roll each ball in granulated sugar if desired, then flatten with a fork or press into molds.
  7. Place mints on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
