Easy Cranberry Relish

A fresh, uncooked cranberry relish made with just a few simple ingredients. This classic recipe is easy to prepare in a food processor and requires no cooking. Serve with turkey, chicken, pork, or with crackers and cream cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries, washed
  • 1 orange, peel on, cut into 8 wedges
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the ends off the orange just until you see the flesh. Leave the rest of the skin on the orange and cut into 8 wedges.
  2. Add fresh cranberries, orange wedges, and sugar to a food processor and pulse until smooth or until no large chunks remain.
  3. Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Do not over-process the mixture as it may become too liquidy. The relish can be refrigerated for up to 1-2 weeks. For a more tart version, reduce sugar to 3/4 cup.
