Cozy Cinnamon Apple Tea with Ginger

A warm and comforting apple cinnamon tea enhanced with fresh ginger, perfect for cozy fall or winter days. This caffeine-free tea combines sweet apples, spicy ginger, and cinnamon sticks simmered to create a soothing beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 gala apples, quartered and cored
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced thinly
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 ½ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • Optional: lemon juice to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the quartered apples, sliced ginger, cinnamon sticks, and water to a saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for about 20-30 minutes until apples are soft and the flavors meld.
  3. Turn off the heat and let the tea steep covered for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into cups, pressing the fruit gently to release juices.
  5. Stir in maple syrup and lemon juice to taste.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy the cozy flavors.

Notes

For a stronger ginger flavor, add more fresh ginger slices. This tea is naturally caffeine-free and can be sweetened with maple syrup or honey. It’s perfect for a relaxing evening or to warm up on a chilly day.
