For the Crust:
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to the skillet. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in white cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until fully melted and creamy.
- Let sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken before serving.
