For the Crust:
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pan, combine pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid has thickened.
- Stir in butter, white cheddar, and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy. Top with Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
