Cod in Air Fryer

  • Author: Dorothy Miler

Description

A simple and healthy way to cook cod fillets in the air fryer, resulting in a crispy exterior and tender, flaky interior.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 lemon, sliced (optional for serving)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried parsley. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over both sides of the fillets.
  4. Place the cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon slices if desired.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
