For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tbsp cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, 1/4 cup melted butter, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool bread in pan for 10 minutes, then remove. Brush top and sides with remaining melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
