Chocolate Orange Delight
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies or brownie crumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup sugar or natural sweetener
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Fresh orange slices or zest
- Prepare the base: Combine cookie crumbs with melted butter, press into bottom of a springform pan, and chill.
- Make the mousse: Whip cream to soft peaks. Blend cream cheese (or yogurt), sugar, and melted chocolate until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over base and refrigerate.
- Cook the orange glaze: In a small saucepan, whisk orange juice, honey, and cornstarch over medium heat until thickened. Cool slightly, then pour over mousse.
- Assemble and garnish: Once the glaze sets, top with fresh orange slices or zest.
