Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake

A decadent and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust and rich chocolate filling, perfect for chocolate lovers.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (about 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 8 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter; press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with a mixer until smooth and blended.
  4. Add melted chocolate and mix well.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each until just blended.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust.
  7. Bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour, or until the center is almost set.
  8. Run a knife around the rim of the pan to loosen the cake, then cool completely before removing the rim.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese. Allow the cheesecake to chill thoroughly for a firmer texture. Serve with whipped cream or chocolate shavings if desired.
