A quick and savory stir-fry featuring tender beef slices and sweet onions in a rich, umami-packed sauce.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch with water. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and onions begin to soften.
- Return beef to the wok, pour in the sauce, and stir well to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately over steamed rice.
