A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring tender beef and caramelized onions in a savory sauce.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and black pepper for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add ginger and garlic, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the sliced onions and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
- Return the beef to the wok and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot over steamed rice.
