Classic Chicken Salad

Description

A simple and delicious chicken salad with crisp celery and creamy dressing, perfect for sandwiches or salads.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add shredded chicken, celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl. Gently toss to coat with the dressing.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve on bread, crackers, or over a bed of greens.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
