- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2 more minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
