Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich, velvety garlic sauce. A simple yet elegant dish perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2 more minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
