Chicken Alfredo Bake

A creamy, cheesy chicken Alfredo pasta bake that’s easy to prepare and perfect for a comforting family dinner.

  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add cooked chicken and broccoli florets to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken mixture, and Alfredo sauce. Stir until well combined.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh parsley on top before serving. You can substitute broccoli with spinach or mushrooms for variety.
