Cheesy Taco Pinwheels

Easy Taco Pinwheels are made with taco seasoning, cheese and pizza dough for a quick snack or lunch that’s a hit with everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, add water and cook for 2-3 minutes
  4. Roll out the pizza dough
  5. Spread the ground beef over the pizza dough
  6. Sprinkle with cheese
  7. Roll the dough up jelly roll style
  8. Cut into 1/2 inch rounds
  9. Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet
  10. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and puffy

Notes

For the sauce, mix together greek yogurt, ranch dressing, lime juice, and cilantro. Pizza dough makes these pinwheels crispy and easy to prepare. This is a party staple that works well as an after-school snack or appetizer.
