Cheesy Crab Rangoon Dip

A creamy, cheesy dip combining crab meat, cream cheese, and melted cheeses, baked until bubbly and served warm with crispy wonton chips for dipping.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 ounces lump crab meat, drained
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 25 wonton wrappers, sliced in half diagonally
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray wonton triangles generously with cooking spray and bake for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  3. In a small baking dish, combine cream cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder.
  4. Bake the dip mixture for 20-25 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with extra scallions if desired and serve warm with baked wonton chips.

Notes

Softened cream cheese melts faster, but if time-pressed, room temperature cream cheese works fine with extra baking time. Cover the baking dish if the top browns too quickly. For best results, use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy before baking.
