For the Crust:
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper. Brush evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the bread.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and slice into pieces before serving.
