- 3 medium apples, cored and sliced into rounds
- 1 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as peanuts or pecans)
- Wooden skewers or popsicle sticks (optional)
Instructions
- Core apples and slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- If using, insert a wooden skewer or popsicle stick into each apple slice.
- Dip each apple slice into caramel sauce, coating both sides. Allow excess to drip off.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts or other toppings if desired.
- Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set the caramel.
