Description

A delightful and easy-to-make treat featuring crisp apple slices coated in rich caramel and topped with optional nuts or sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples, cored and sliced into rounds
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as peanuts or pecans)
  • Wooden skewers or popsicle sticks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Core apples and slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. If using, insert a wooden skewer or popsicle stick into each apple slice.
  3. Dip each apple slice into caramel sauce, coating both sides. Allow excess to drip off.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or other toppings if desired.
  5. Place on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set the caramel.
