Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in buttermilk until just combined. The dough will be sticky.
- Pour melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the butter, spreading slightly to form a single layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
