For the Crust:
- 6 large croissants, torn into pieces
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange torn croissant pieces evenly in the baking dish. Scatter blueberries over the croissants.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants and blueberries, pressing down lightly to ensure all pieces are soaked.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
