A rich and indulgent black forest cheesecake combining the flavors of chocolate, cherries, and creamy cheesecake.

For the Crust:
- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
- Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and garnish with whipped cream before serving.
