Better Than Anything Cake

A rich chocolate cake filled with sweet caramel, whipped cream, and toffee candy, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18 ounces) Devil's Food Cake Mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as called for on box)
  • 1/2 can (7 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups caramel sauce
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip, thawed (or 8 ounces fresh whipped cream)
  • 3 chocolate covered toffee candy bars, chopped (such as Heath bars or Skor bars)

Instructions

  1. Bake cake according to package directions for a 9×13 baking dish. Let sit for 10 minutes after baking.
  2. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.
  3. Pour caramel sauce evenly over the top, allowing it to soak into the holes.
  4. Pour half of the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the caramel.
  5. Sprinkle chopped candy bars evenly on top.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a few hours to chill completely.
  7. Before serving, spread Cool Whip or fresh whipped cream evenly over the top.

Notes

Chilling the cake for several hours allows the caramel and sweetened condensed milk to soak deeply, making the cake moist and flavorful. Use your favorite chocolate toffee bars for best results.
