Description

Warm, tender baked pears topped with a crunchy walnut and oatmeal crumble, perfect for a cozy dessert or breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Spoon the crumble mixture evenly over each pear half.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until pears are tender and topping is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt.
