Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants

Flaky croissants stuffed with ham and cheese, baked to golden perfection for a delicious breakfast or snack.

For the Crust:

  • 4 large croissants
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice croissants in half horizontally. Spread Dijon mustard on the bottom halves.
  3. Layer 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on each croissant half. Close with the top halves.
  4. Brush the tops with beaten egg and melted butter for a golden finish.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the croissants are crispy and the cheese is melted. Serve warm.
