Bacon Wrapped Mac and Cheese Bites

Rich, creamy mac and cheese bites wrapped in crispy bacon, baked until golden brown. These bite-sized appetizers combine tender pasta in a cheesy sauce with smoky bacon for a delicious appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 12 bacon slices
  • Salt to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. In a pot, boil salted water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions
  3. Drain the cooked macaroni and place in a mixing bowl
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese, milk, butter, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese until well combined
  5. Spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray
  6. Wrap bacon slices around the inside of each muffin cup indentation
  7. Fill each cup with the macaroni and cheese mixture
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving

Notes

For easier removal, let the bites cool for a few minutes in the pan after baking. You can use crispy precooked bacon to save time. These can be made ahead and reheated in the oven.
