For the Crust:

  • 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Toss sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve warm.

Notes
