For the Crust:
- 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Toss sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, oats, and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
