- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup finely chopped apples
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped apples. Roll tightly and slice into 8 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
