2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 packet instant yeast
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 cup finely chopped apples
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped apples. Roll tightly and slice into 8 pieces.
Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
