For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 6-8 patties and place them in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup and water, then pour over the patties.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until the patties are cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or noodles.
