Easy Crispy Air Fryer Gnocchi

An incredibly easy weeknight dinner recipe that creates crispy, golden gnocchi in just 15 minutes using shelf-stable packaged gnocchi, olive oil, Parmesan cheese, and simple seasonings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shelf-stable dry gnocchi
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2.5 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat function, let it run for 4-5 minutes before adding the gnocchi.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, ensuring the gnocchi is evenly coated in the oil and seasonings.
  3. Add the seasoned gnocchi in a single layer to the air fryer basket and cook for 10-14 minutes, shaking the basket every 3-4 minutes or until the gnocchi is golden brown.
  4. Serve immediately topped with freshly grated Parmesan and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Do not thaw frozen gnocchi if using – add directly to the bowl with seasonings. Arrange gnocchi in a single layer to maximize crispiness and avoid overlapping. Every air fryer runs differently, so adjust cooking time as needed for your specific appliance.
