Air Fryer Beef Jerky

  • Author: Trusted Blog

Description

A simple and delicious homemade beef jerky made in the air fryer with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound lean beef (top round or flank steak)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick, against the grain for tenderness.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 180°F (82°C).
  5. Place the marinated beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  6. Cook for 3-4 hours, flipping the strips halfway through, until the jerky is dry but still slightly pliable.
  7. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
