A simple and delicious homemade beef jerky made in the air fryer with minimal ingredients.

For the Crust:
- 1 pound lean beef (top round or flank steak)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Slice the beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick, against the grain for tenderness.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°F (82°C).
- Place the marinated beef strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Cook for 3-4 hours, flipping the strips halfway through, until the jerky is dry but still slightly pliable.
- Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
