3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls

Simple and delicious peanut butter balls made with just three ingredients: unsalted butter, creamy peanut butter, and confectioners’ sugar. These no-bake treats are easy to prepare and perfect for snacking or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter (not natural style)
  • 2 and 1/2 cups (300g) confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
  2. With a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium-high speed until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the peanut butter and beat until combined, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the confectioners’ sugar and beat on low speed for 2 minutes until everything is combined and the mixture is a little soft and crumbly.
  5. Roll peanut butter dough into 1-inch balls (about 1 scant Tablespoon or 18g of dough each) and place on the baking sheet.
  6. If the mixture becomes too soft to handle, chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or powder your hands with confectioners’ sugar to prevent sticking.
  7. Continue rolling until you have about 32–35 balls total.

Notes

The mixture can be crumbly but will come together with the warmth of your hands. Chilling the dough helps if it becomes too soft. Powdering your hands with confectioners’ sugar can prevent sticking during rolling.
